Technical maintenance is included and runs automatically: security updates, availability monitoring, SSL certificate renewal, and performance optimization. Unlike WordPress, where you need to manually update plugins and the core (and risk breaking the site), React/Next.js maintenance is minimal and safe.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about AxiomWeb's website subscription service — from pricing and plans to what's included and how it all works.
How This Works
Instead of a one-time development payment ($2,000–$10,000 at agencies), you pay a fixed monthly amount — starting from $79. This covers everything: website development, hosting, SSL certificate, technical support, and updates. Think of it like internet or phone service: you use it every day, you pay once a month.
The monthly payment covers: a professionally hand-coded website in React/Next.js, hosting on Vercel (the same infrastructure as Netflix and TikTok), SSL certificate, automatic image optimization, PIPEDA-compliant legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms of Use), and 1 to 3 hours of technical support per month depending on your plan.
I invest a week of professional work upfront — development, design, and hosting setup — with no deposit required. The 12-month minimum ensures this investment is justified. Over a year, you'll pay $948–$2,028, which is 3–5× less than a one-time agency build, and support is included throughout.
After 12 months, you can cancel anytime with no penalties. On request, I can export a static HTML version of your site that you can host anywhere. Most clients stay — everything works, support is included, and you don't have to do anything yourself.
Yes. If your business grows and you need more pages or a blog, you can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. Downgrading is also possible, but only at the end of your current term. Plan changes are seamless — your site keeps running without interruption.
While your subscription is active, your site runs and is fully maintained. If you cancel after the contract period, I can export a static HTML version that remains yours. Your domain name is always yours — it's registered in your name from day one.
Plans and Pricing
Landing Page ($79/mo) — for personal brands, simple service businesses, and online business cards. One page with essential information. Multi-Page ($109/mo) — the most popular choice for small businesses: up to 5 pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, and one more), contact forms, Google Analytics. Pro/Blog ($169/mo) — everything from Multi-Page plus the ability to add dynamic content through a CMS: blog, product catalog, or project portfolio. 3 hours of support per month.
A page is a separate URL with unique content: Home, About, Services, Contact, FAQ. Sections within a single page (hero, pricing, testimonials) are not separate pages. The Multi-Page plan includes up to 5 pages in the base price. If you need more, additional pages can be added within your monthly support hours or by ordering extra development hours.
Support hours are the time I spend making changes at your request: updating text, adding photos, changing a phone number, adjusting design. Landing Page includes 1 hour/month, Multi-Page — 2 hours, Pro/Blog — 3 hours. Unused hours don't roll over to the next month.
If the volume of changes exceeds your included hours, additional time is billed at an hourly rate. In practice, most clients find their included hours sufficient. If you regularly exceed the limit, it makes sense to upgrade to a plan with more hours.
No, the blog is an option, not an obligation. The Pro/Blog plan includes the same static pages as Multi-Page, plus setup of one type of dynamic content through a CMS — for example, a blog, product catalog, or project portfolio. You don't have to use the CMS at all if you don't need it yet.
$0 upfront, $0 for design. The first payment is the first month's subscription, after signing the agreement. Design, development, and launch are all included in the monthly cost.
On base price, DIY platforms are cheaper ($23–$52/mo). But you get a template site that you build yourself, with PageSpeed scores of 30–60 (vs our 95–100), and no professional support. You also separately need plugins for image optimization ($50–100/year), multilingual support ($100–200/year), and legal pages ($300–500 one-time). When you count the total cost, we come out ahead.
Getting Started
Three things: a logo (if you have one), text about your business (services, description, contact info), and photos (products, team, office). If you don't have something — that's fine. We can work with what you have and add more along the way.
We'll start without a logo — using a nicely formatted text version of your business name. When your logo is ready, we'll add it within your support hours. I can also recommend logo creation services, but that's a separate service.
Not a problem. For the launch, I'll find quality stock images suited to your business. Smartphone photos work too — the system automatically optimizes any image (WebP format, responsive sizes for all devices). Professional photography is a separate service but not required to launch.
Ideally you provide text about your business, services, and value propositions — you know your business best. Sources can include: an old website, brochures, your Google Business Profile description, or even bullet points. If you need help with writing, that's possible, but it uses your support hours.
After receiving your materials, I develop the site and show you the finished result on a test domain. You review it, give feedback, and I make adjustments. Usually 1–2 rounds of revisions. When you're satisfied — we launch.
Realistic timelines: Landing Page — 3–5 business days, Multi-Page — 5–7 business days, Pro/Blog with CMS — 1–2 weeks. The main factor for delays is not development, but receiving content from you. The faster you provide text and photos, the faster the launch.
No. Absolutely no technical knowledge required. I set everything up — hosting, domain, SSL, analytics. Need changes? Just email me — I'll handle everything.
What's Included and What's Not
Yes. Hosting on Vercel (the same infrastructure as Netflix and TikTok) is included in every plan. These are enterprise-level servers with automatic scaling, a global CDN, and 99.99% uptime. No additional hosting costs.
No. A domain name (~$15/year) is purchased separately and registered in your name — it's your property. I'll help you choose and set up the domain, but the registration cost is your expense. If you already have a domain, we'll connect it.
No. Business email (like info@yourbusiness.com) is a separate service from providers like Google Workspace ($7/mo) or Microsoft 365 ($6/mo). I'll help configure DNS records to connect your email, but the mail service itself isn't part of the subscription. If budget is tight, I can help set up Zoho Mail — it has a free tier that works great for starting out.
Full e-commerce with a shopping cart, payment processing, and order management goes beyond the standard plans — that requires a custom quote. But if you need a simple product showcase with a "contact to order" button or payment link — that fits within the standard plans.
Embedding third-party service widgets (Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, and similar) is included. If you need a full booking system with integrated payments — that goes beyond the platform and requires a custom assessment.
Basic SEO is included in every plan: proper heading structure, meta tags, fast loading (<1 second), mobile responsiveness, SSL, clean URLs, automatic sitemap. Page speed is an official Google ranking factor since 2021, and our sites significantly outperform competitors (95–100 PageSpeed vs 30–60 for template platforms).
Yes. Multilingual support is built into the platform and available at no additional cost — it's an enterprise-grade solution powered by next-intl. The number of languages is unlimited. The only requirement: you provide the translations and verify their quality. Each language gets proper SEO optimization (separate URLs, hreflang tags).
Yes. PIPEDA-compliant legal pages are included in every plan: Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, customized for your business (company name, contact information). Competitors charge $300–500 for this or send you to a lawyer. With us — it's included.
Performance, Security, and Technical
53% of visitors abandon a site if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load (Google data). Every second of delay reduces conversion by 7% (Amazon data). Google has used page speed as a ranking factor since 2021. A fast site means more visitors stay, more calls and inquiries, and a higher search ranking.
Our sites consistently score 95–100 in Google PageSpeed Insights. Load time is under 1 second (actual measurement: ~260ms). For comparison: Wix — 30–60, Squarespace — 40–70, GoDaddy — 20–50, typical WordPress — 40–70.
React and Next.js are what Netflix, TikTok, and Nike are built on. Every site is hand-coded, not assembled from templates. This means full control over the code, no unnecessary plugins, and maximum performance and security. Hosting on Vercel, an enterprise platform with a global CDN.
Yes, 100% responsive design. Every site is developed mobile-first: it works great on phones first, then scales for tablets and desktops. Given that 80% of traffic comes from mobile devices, this is critically important.
SSL certificate (data encryption, the lock icon in browsers) is included and renews automatically. Since sites are built with React/Next.js rather than WordPress, there are no vulnerable plugins — one of the main attack vectors (43% of hacked sites run on WordPress). Hosting on Vercel with enterprise-level protection.
Yes. Vercel hosting includes automatic availability and performance monitoring. If something goes wrong, I'll know about it before you do and fix it within the support framework. Uptime — 99.99%.
Google Analytics is included in the Multi-Page and Pro/Blog plans. I'll set up tracking: visits, traffic sources, user behavior, and form conversions. For the Landing Page plan — it can be added on request within your support hours.
Comparing Options
Three key differences. Site speed: our sites load in <1 second (PageSpeed 95–100), template platforms take 3–5 seconds (PageSpeed 30–60). Code: every site is hand-coded in React/Next.js, not assembled from bloated templates. Support: you don't figure things out yourself — you write to me, I do it. With DIY platforms, you build the site yourself, solve problems yourself, and the result depends on your skills.
Most subscription services use WordPress — the same approach as in 2010. We use React/Next.js, which provides a fundamentally different level of performance. Plus we include things competitors charge extra for: image optimization ($50–100/year), multilingual support ($100–200/year), legal pages ($300–500). When you count the full annual cost, our $948 (Landing Page) turns out cheaper than a competitor's $75/mo with add-ons.
An agency charges $2,000–$5,000 upfront and takes 2–3 months to build. We charge $0 upfront and launch in 5–7 days. Quality is the same: same modern tech stack, hand-coded. The difference is in the model: instead of a large one-time payment, you pay a predictable monthly fee, and support is included rather than billed at $100+/hour extra.
This is a common scenario, and it seems free at first. But these sites usually lack professional hosting, support, security updates, and timeline guarantees. When the creator gets busy or loses interest — the site is left without support. With a subscription, you get a professional result with guaranteed ongoing support — for a predictable monthly fee.
Free platform versions have real limitations: ads on your site, a subdomain instead of your own domain (yourbusiness.wixsite.com), minimal features, and slow speed. This is fine for a hobby project, but for a business, a site like this can hurt more than help — clients judge your professionalism by your website.
It's worth looking at what's included for $25 and what you'd need to add. Usually for the minimum price you get a 1-page WordPress template without image optimization, multilingual support, or legal pages. When you add what's necessary — the price climbs to $100+/mo. Our $79/mo includes all of this upfront, plus a React/Next.js site with PageSpeed 95–100 rather than 40–60.
Trust and Risk
Yes. Work examples are available in the gallery on axiomweb.design. You can also check any of our sites through Google PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev) and verify the real speed metrics yourself.
Before launch, you see the fully completed site on a test domain. We go through 1–2 rounds of revisions until you're satisfied. I don't launch the site until you give final approval. The goal is for the site to represent your business exactly the way you want.
A fair question. First, your domain is registered in your name — it's yours no matter what. Second, I can export a static HTML version of your site that works on any hosting. Third, I've been in the industry for 12+ years and have no plans to go anywhere. Even in the hypothetical worst case — your site won't disappear.
Yes, a simple and straightforward agreement. Key points: the chosen plan and price, 12-month minimum term, description of included services (hosting, support, updates), and cancellation terms after the contract period. No fine print or hidden conditions.
12+ years in web development. I use React/Next.js — the same stack as Netflix, TikTok, and Nike. I work as an independent developer in Winnipeg, which means low overhead (no office, managers, or sales team) — and I pass those savings on to clients through affordable pricing.
If something isn't working for you — tell me what specifically. Most issues are resolved by adjusting the approach or making small changes. The contract runs 12 months, and my goal is for you to be satisfied throughout. After 12 months, you can cancel anytime.
I guarantee: launch within the agreed timeframe (3–7 days depending on the plan), PageSpeed 95+ in Google PageSpeed Insights, 99.99% uptime, and change requests handled within your support hours. If the site doesn't meet these parameters — I'll fix it at no additional cost.
After Launch
Just email me describing what needs to change: "replace the photo on the homepage", "update the phone number", "add a new service". I'll handle everything within your support hours. No need to figure out control panels or a CMS.
Small changes (text, photos, contact info) — usually within 1–2 business days. Larger updates (new page, structural changes) may take 3–5 business days. Urgent fixes (site down, critical error) — same day.
Yes. Upgrading to a higher plan is a seamless process. Started with a Landing Page — upgrade to Multi-Page when you need more pages. Need a blog — upgrade to Pro/Blog. If your needs go beyond the standard plans (integrations, custom features), we'll discuss a custom solution.
Basic SEO (structure, meta tags, speed, mobile) is part of every site. Recommendations for improving rankings are also included in support. Advanced SEO (content strategy, link building, ongoing analytics) is separate work we can discuss individually.
Multi-Page and Pro/Blog plans include Google Analytics — you get the full picture: how many people visit, where they come from, which pages they view, and how many inquiries they submit. You can also check speed at any time through Google PageSpeed Insights.
If the new feature is within the platform's capabilities (new page, gallery, form, widget) — it's added within your support hours. If you need custom development (calculator, CRM integration, e-commerce) — we'll assess the scope and discuss the cost. On the Pro/Blog plan, there's a discount on custom development.
